Anyone can use energy to heal. However, Reiki attunements clear blocks and imbalances from the body in such a way that helps the person become an open and clear channel for Reiki to flow through. This could trigger release of emotional energy, aches, pains, past life attachments or ancestral beliefs. 

The attunements are a very powerful process which ensures you have a clear connection with Reiki and your Reiki Guides. The more you continue to give yourself Reiki, the stronger your connection will become. 

Symbols are used at different times in different attunements. Please note : Some Reiki Masters do not use non traditional symbols and some do.

During this course, the Tam A Ra Sha Symbol is used during attunements. I will be using it because this is how I was taught during training. 

If you become attuned (or re-attuned), on completion of this course, you will be attuned to all symbols that are mentioned in this course. This includes the 4 Traditional Reiki Symbols of Cho Ku Rei, Sei Hei Ki, Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen and Master Symbol Dai Ko Myo.

And also the Non Traditional Reiki Symbols Raku, Tam A Ra Sha, Dai Ko Mio.
